2 Yard Weekly Service
Dumpster styles are approximate and may vary slightly depending on the container manufacturer.
A 2 yard dumpster works well with small businesses with about 25 employees, or properties that are limited by space that have relatively small trash disposal needs.
- Dimensions: 3.5 feet high x 6 feet long x 3 feet wide
- Capacity: Can hold about 15 trash bags
- Weight Limit: Typically can store 400 pounds
2 yard dumpsters can also be used at small apartment complexes and convenience stores. Apartment complexes with 6 family units or less can get by with a smaller dumpster, but larger complexes will require either a 4 or 6 yard dumpster. As for convenience stores, a 2 yard dumpster should fit.
4 Yard Weekly Service

A 4 yard dumpster works well for small retailers, offices with up to 100 employees, medical clinics, and mid size restaurants.
- Dimensions: 5 feet high x 6 feet long x 5.6 feet wide
- Capacity: Can hold up to two pickup trucks- worth of trash
- Weight limit: Typically between 800-1000 pounds
4 yard dumpsters hold double the amount but are still a convenient enough size that doesn’t sacrifice space. They are just as easy to load as a 2 yard dumpster and can easily fit in a small parking lot or in the back of a commercial building.
6 Yard Weekly Service

A 6 yard dumpster is what you would commonly find behind commercial buildings such as a shopping plaza or large offices with up to 250 employees, it is a great dumpster for apartments, grocery stores and more.

- Capacity: Can hold about 50 trash bags
- Weight limit: Easily holds about 1200-1400 pounds
These bins also feature a sliding door so you don’t have to lift any trash bags over your head. The sliding door allows easy access. These dumpsters typically are cleaned out 1-2 times a week depending on the amount of waste accumulated throughout the week.
8 Yard Weekly Service

The 8 yard dumpster is the largest of the permanent use dumpsters, and typically are seen behind warehouses and offices with up to 500 employees.
- Dimensions: 6.8 feet high x 6 feet long x 6 feet wide
- Capacity: Designed for heavy-duty use
- Weight limit: Easily holds 1400-1600 pounds
The best option for large commercial settings, these bins won’t be seen behind your local retail shops. The 8 yard dumpster also features a sliding door, making it easy to fill.
